A Harris County resident has filed a lawsuit against a local company and its owner, alleging severe injuries due to negligence. Afshin Saleh lodged the complaint in the District Court of Harris County on July 2, 2024, targeting Interactive Enterprises LLC and its owner, Feridoun Shahmoradian.
According to the petition, Saleh was hired by Interactive Enterprises LLC to paint a mural at a property located at 1605 Potomac Drive, Houston. On August 12, 2022, while performing his work, Saleh stumbled over an uncovered pool skimmer and fell into an empty pool. The fall resulted in severe bodily injuries. The plaintiff claims that the defendants were aware or should have been aware of the dangerous condition but failed to take necessary precautions or warn him about it.
The lawsuit asserts that Interactive Enterprises LLC and Shahmoradian possessed, managed, maintained, and owned the premises where the incident occurred. Saleh entered the property as an invitee with express permission from the defendants for mutual benefit. The plaintiff alleges that his injury resulted from a premises defect that posed an unreasonable risk of harm. "Interactive Enterprises LLC and/or Feridoun Shahmoradian knew or reasonably should have known of the danger," states the petition.
Saleh is seeking compensation for past and future medical expenses, physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical impairment, disfigurement, inconvenience, and loss of enjoyment of life. Additionally, he seeks pre-judgment interest and post-judgment interest at maximum allowable rates under Texas law along with all taxable court costs.
The case is being handled by attorneys Bryan A. Green and Chad C. Taylor from Baron & Budd P.C., while Judge Taiasha Bradford presides over it in Court 157 under Case ID 2024-42084.
